I turn off my pc every day...

so, when I launch ut it doesn't start, so I've to launch another time to run it.
After first launch, I find ut process active among the other processes, if I stop ut process and re-launch it Ut starts normally.

Someone knows why?

windows firewall is off, 360 antivir did find nothing malicious.
Last time I played I wasn't kicked, sometimes it happens that I was kicked 2 or 3 times at the beginning of the game, then I succeed to finish the game.
All the times kicks happen at the beginning.

so what can I do? Ask to the provider about connection? Or try to know what port Ace use and open it?

yesterday I tried to do another thing: I did disable c1e from bios and I think it was eist feature, but I found another setting in bios named speedstep, and disabling it the game seems to run normally. Now, I wonder why, speedstep (eist) should have to run slower the cpu during its low usage, so, wh...

I tried to put ut folder in another disk (traditional) but no difference during the game.
Then I tried boot the pc with xp and no problems at all...

yes, I disabled windows indexing/search (on the ssd disk) and disable superfetch in windows registry putting dword to 0 (of superfetch, prefetch and boottrace), I didnt find the services...

so, I tried to disable eist, but nothing changed, there are still slowdowns...
Just a question, how do many among you still play ut99 on win7? Never had this issue?
