Re: What's your favorite map to relieve stress on?
The FNB maps with the speed pickup are great stress relief candidates for me. But I will go with this one. I definitely love running around here : https://sites.google.com/site/fragnbrag ... dri-towers

Re: HansZielarz
First of all, hi Helen!!! Nice to see you around here. :D Second, before this topic gets closed, (which by experience has high probability of happening :noidea ) Hans, you are full of crap. I have been playing the mountain for years now. Helen is among the most awesome server admins still around. If...

Re: How to disable trans locator by editing a map.
It's just that (not a big deal) but I think the mapper should have the power to block it in some way or to block mutators having an effect, built into the map. I think mappers doing these things, blocking stuff, end up limiting the "audience". It is just like those who say "oh, I am ...

Re: How to disable trans locator by editing a map.
What for??? :noidea There is already an option in the base game to enable disable translocator. Why remove the player's freedom to play the map however he wants, with whatever game modes, mutators, weapons they want? I really feel this is unnecessary. I have maps with "included" sniper wea...

If you play bots, you can hit ESC. Hell, there is even a pause command you can bind if you prefer.
If you play online, you can brb.

Re: Howto install Grapple Hook into my server
The grapple hook is not working, when I join other servers I can use it right away. Check if those servers are using the same exact version. If they are, use a cache cleaner, extract the file and compare file sizes and do a checksum if necessary. Also check if those servers are using extra files ne...

Re: Looking for a specific CTF map from memory *SOLVED
So, there is a saying that it takes a big man to admit he's wrong. . . I feel something similar here, so wanted to come "clean" about how silly I have been about this and to share that maybe 20 years or so have taken a toll on how I remember map details. . . . Hey, don't worry about it. :...

Re: Server not visible in public
Take this with grain of salt...but I think one of the servers that I frequent uses pingperfect.com. Have to confirm, though.

Re: Server not visible in public
Maybe "dumb" question, but have you tried contacting GTX for support? I see UT as one of the games listed, so they may have at least some idea of what is up. Or I could be wrong.

Also...maybe unrelated to the issue, but...I think you have to increase the cachesizemegs to at least 256 these days.

Re: UTDM-monster and Patch 469 discussion
Just to point out that EG did make a report on GitHub and the issue has been fixed. The key point though is that the issue could have been addressed much earlier had a report been submitted sooner (and had EG participated in testing 469). To me, the "key point" is his attitude. Instead of...
