Your Small Map Weapons Favorites?

I've started to rework some of my old maps. The plan is to release two or three smaller DM maps suitable for 1on1s or 2 - 4 player matches.
For the first map I plan to only offer three weapons (besides the default pistol).
My question is, what weapons are your favorites and which do you hate most? And most important, what combination of three weapons do you consider most fun to combine together in a map?

I'm not really a fan of small DM maps nor do I now play with default UT weapons much BUT I think the most effective weapons (based on their damage per second) would be the flak cannon, pulse rifle and biorifle. Whether people would find these the most fun in combination is doubtful of course - I would think that the shockrifle would figure in that.

I'm going with bio, flak, and double pistols. That seems like a good combo for a tight map.

I like all the weapon types so don't really hate any. I guess the ripper would be my least favorite although it can be fun in a corridor.

The Shock Rifle is a great all around weapon, I guess the Pulse Gun could work well in a compact environment.
The Flak Cannon is the greatest close-medium range weapon but might not fair well if you miss and shred yourself.

The Shock has it's disadvantages in middle and close combat... The most fun of the Shock Rifle is its combos. And when this combo connects well after the Shock ball traveled a little bit, this is sooo satisfying. In close range you have to spray and pray. But that's what I always do...

My favs for small maps:
Rocket Launcher - High damage rate and splash damage galore (and a nice lock-on).
Bio Rifle. Areal denial, crowd control and one hit kill even when your opponent has the shield-belt.
Shock Rifle. A nice mix of hitscan and projectile combat.

Nobody's mentioned the minigun - same damage per second as the rocket launcher on normal fire and a higher damage per second than any other default UT weapon (other than the flak cannon) on alt fire.

The Ripper is a favorite weapon of mine. However, it's complete crap in terms of accuracy. I like the Flak Cannon too, because of its splash damage.

Wouldn't it be great if the ripper actually sliced off limbs and heads and what nots lol I can envision a bunch of 1 armed headless hopping players dodge hopping and carrying the flag between their knees.
