Nice!
Wait... I thought Vatcilli was the one that made those Icons.

Yes Vatcilli came up with the idea and made them in the first place ...but She couldn't provide a pack till now.
And Hellkeeper had them already on his page.
Therefore must we thank both.

Re: UnrealEd icons now available in the smiley section
Half of these are bundled with any UT release? So maybe split the description of theese new smilies into two categoris? Default and custom? Then credit Epic for the default ones and Vatcilli/Hellkeeper for the custom ones?
Also, if someone who was realy home in the editor could use these new smilies as base of creating a topic where they where all explained one by one, what they do, how they are used and pros/cons? That would be awesome and would be a very good place for a mapper to actualy get to know what the full potentials of the editor is? I've been mapping for years, but I have no grasp of it's full potential? Mostly because my mapping style has never seeked the outer limit, but if I knew it all - mapping would surely be easier, even for one who like me have mapped for years.

Re: UnrealEd icons now available in the smiley section
The thanking here is only for providing the idea and the images in a web format. The actual makers of the images are Epic for most, Tarquin for a handful, and the 227 team for the rest (Actually I did the Align Camera for 227 )TheDane wrote:Half of these are bundled with any UT release? Will do.TheDane wrote:Also, if someone who was realy home in the editor could use these new smilies as base of creating a topic where they where all explained one by one, what they do, how they are used and pros/cons?
You must construct additional pylons.

Re: UnrealEd icons now available in the smiley section
Yeah, it's cool that Hellkeeper is up for the challenge!
When done the topic should be stickied hehe ... I bet it will come in handy for most mappers - and maybe it will encourage others to start mapping once they see what can be done and how great a toolset UED has.
If I may make a wish? Then it would be to seperate the different Editor versions in this? I map for ut99 only and uses the standard editor that shipped with the v436 Anthology version. Could you please clealy specify which tool is default, which is custom (like Tarquins) and what tools are not for ut99 (u227 etc).... that would be great

I was planning to. Otherwise it would just be confusing.TheDane wrote:If I may make a wish? Then it would be to seperate the different Editor versions in this? This will be done tonight or tomorrow, depending on how much time I have.
You must construct additional pylons.
