Hi Que! I like your mapvote
I have 1 question, when I use this mapvote my ace gets duplicated

when I type mutate ace status I see it 2 times

do I have to disable something in your mapvote ini for ace not to load up twice?

post your MapVoteX.ini and lets see how you've configured it.
i suspect you may have ACE running twice.

also post in [coded] brackets your Server Actor/Packages from UT.ini.

ok , this problem does not appear to be caused by MVX.. perhaps XC_Engine or ACE itself is the problem.
you have the barebones of MVX running.

Oke I tested it with normal game engine and the problem is still the same,
something else I discovered is that my utcmds! mod is also duplicating when I put

MapVoteX106k.MapVoteX before UTCmds2.UTCmds

It's not duplicating

Problem is with ace this is not posssible in the commandline there is no ace string.

what else could it be? it only happens with mapvotex and with more than 1 mod any mod I put before mapvotex gets duplicated.

At cmdline remove all other mutators also the start map must be DM-Tutorial when using MapVoteX.

You can download DM-Tutorial from link or first post in this thread.
Now in MVX set all the mutators in MapVoteX.ini

ok I got that working only the ace issue is still there, do you have the same problem with ace+mvx on your servers btw? or anyone else?

have found problem and will post update in next few days.

note: will not affect performance of server in any way .. is a case of double mutating the strings.

therefore current versions are fine.. except for the double posting of mutated functions.

Is it possible to set a customgame with a servergamepassword?
and is it possible to vote a gametype without selecting any map to vote again because you only have chosen 1 map for that gametype?

Is there a way to disable the splash logo completely?
I would like my startup screen to be as clear as possible.

Furthermore, do I have to delete the tutorial maps? Or can I ignore them somehow? Because in DOM, CTF, AS,... the Tutorial Maps are now showing up in the mapvote

Are you referring to the MVX Logo bottom right?

move those tutorial maps to a sep folder. Just be sure to leave DM-Tutorial in maps folder.

not sure if this is what you're asking , but are you saying that if you have a custom game type which has only 1 map like say Deck16][ and the gametype is voted for
for the server to automatically load that map and not wait for the user to select it?

secondly youre saying that you have a custom gametype which you would like to set a password for users connecting.. ?? this could be a problem for your users if server is stuck in this gametype and no0ne can get in to change it.
