SmartDM tracks many interesting stats for Games.

a) Efficiency (Calculated in scoreboard)
b) Pickups - All pickups like armour ,shieldbelts ,amplifiers ,jumpboots etc
c) Survivability - Defined by (AwakeTime)/(num_of_deaths)
AwakeTime is time between Spawn of player and his/her death.
d) Suicides
e) Sprees - Killing Sprees
f) TimePlayed
g) Headshots
h) SpawnKills
i) Frags
j) FlagTaken
k) FlagDropped
l) FlagTaken

Detections

SmartDM detects longrange kills ,multilevel kills ,SpawnKills and announces same.

IpToCountry Support

SmartDM has IpToCountry support.
SmartDM recommends latest version of IpToCountry.
> Note: Version 107 requires the latest CountryFlags32b.utx compiled by no0ne.

INSTALLATION

Turn off the server!

> Extract the System and Textures (folders) into your UnrealTournament (Folder).

> Open UnrealTournament.ini
> Scroll down to [Engine.GameEngine] section and add the following ServerPackages;

ServerPackages=SmartDM107x
ServerPackages=SmartDmAssets
ServerPackages=CountryFlags32b

Alternatively you may also use
ServerPackages=CountryFlags32y (Enlarged CountryFlags3)
you will need to change the settings in SmartDM107.ini to use these textures for Bots/Players.

Start the Mutator with the following;
Mutator=SmartDM107x.SmartDM

Note: You may open SmartDmAssets.utx with UED and you will find names and references to icons in there.

Here you can give the bots a country name as well to suit the flag :)

If set to False it will disable the SmartDM Multikill Messages.

This will decide from which multi level kill the message should be broadcasted
2 = all multilevel kills will be broadcasted
3 = all multilevel kills after double kill will be broadcasted.
4 = so on......

The maximal time after a victim respawns, that the kill can be defined as a spawnkill.

Add as many GameNames here for the scoreboard to detect what color the heading should be.

The colors in which it is displayed is set always in the order of Red,Green,Blue

Here you can change several of the internal scoreboard icons.
You have up to 10 choices with the SDMIconNum= pointing to the choice.
These icons need to be in the format of 8 bits, 256 color 32x32 .pcx which you incorporate into a .utx file
and add that to the Texture folder as a SDMTextures.utx for instance.
Lets say you called the .pcx BotFlag1.pcx
for Example you could use CountryFlags32b.ZA to give your bots a South African Flag. or CountryFlags32b.US for a USA flag.
Now in the above you would add BotIcon="CountryFlags32b.ZA"
During the game all bots will show that flag and the country you added in
BotCountryName= (Manually Enter a country or place for your bots)

Please note that All Icons (Excluding Team Icons 64x64px) are 32x32px any other sizes will be ignored.
Also note that Custom Header Banners must be 256x32px again all other sizes will be ignored.
We have provided a small Asset Pack with Icons etc inside called SDMAssets.utx open this File in UnrealEditor for more info.
Also if you wish to disable any of the Icons from showing in players Scoreboard windows then simply add "none"
in the desired Icons Attributes. ie; BotIcon="none"

This is a .utx file similar to the icons above except the .pcx will be 256 x 32

This is the Text written on the above Header= and is normally "Red Team" and "Blue Team"

Here you can set the colour of the text displayed in the headers.

bShowTransparent=False
Whether the scoreboard should be totally tansparent or have a shaded background.

bShowAltScoreboard=False
True will remove Pickups and Multikills thus allowing more players to be displayed.

bShowInlineDMPlayers=False
True will show DeahMatch players inline, for 12 players, 1 to 6 on left and 7 to 12 on the right.

bShowTickFrameRate=True
True will show Tick Rate and Frame Rate (FPS) will be displayed at bottom right of scoreboard.

bShowSBCrossHair=True
If True the players crosshair will be displayed while viewing the scoreboard.

bShowBoardIcons=True
If set to False all icons will not be shown on the scoreboard.

bAllowDefaultBoard=False
In many cases, especially DeathMatch, when you press F1 for a scoreboard, the UT default scoreboard
will appear. With this set to False, the UT default Scoreboard 'should' never show.
However if you join the server and press F1/F3 too fast then the Scoreboard will NOT show and will be disabled either until the start of the next game or if client reconnects.

to use these icons you need the <PackageName>.<Category>.<Image>
This Translates into: SmartDmAssets.Bots.Bot01 or SmartDmAssets.Skulls.Death01
so now in your SmartDM107.ini under the following section you can make changes.

Here are some ideas that I am working towards for version 108.

Play Custom Sounds and Display in-game Messages for the following Triggers.

*Player shot out of sky (Default: Ownage)
*Player LastPlace in Scoreboard (Default: LastPlace)
*Player gets more then 5 HeadShots in a Row (Default: HeadHunter)
*Player survives without being killed && has the most Frags (Default: Flawless Victory)

^The majority of these are somewhat taken from Enhanced UT (EUT) and the Last Place from discord.

Something maybe we should look into is Stats Recovery for SDM , again a big job but we'll see.

With respects to SmartCTF (Assists, Denied , Seals, flagKills, etc) iam thinking that it is a big task to bring these to SDM.

So Perhaps we just copy over some of SDM's features to SCTF instead?

We have successfully moved "Players Local Times" to SCTF. In an unreleased beta version.

What this^ feature does is allows players to see (What time it is) in other players locations. You can then get a feel for when players are online.

I will look into upgrading SCTF WITH Flags to 32*32px and Displaying Country Names.

Edit: Combined Extra Textures and modified Read-me for SDM107 in original post.

Been a big fan of SmartDM for many years! Thanks for the update. I have an issue with Bot names overlapping some info next to them on the right side where "botland" is (I'm not sure what this info is):

I was gonna ask why (what I assume are) bots are named after Pelosi and Schumer... but then I figured that was confirmation on the burning "Q" in your userpic.

Thank you! .. we never did finish it all those years ago.. not sure what happened but we all dropped out of UT for several years.
the info which is obscured is Time: , Survival: , Ping:...

Will look into that over lapping issue ASAP. What screen resolution are you currently running at?..
the swords (BotIcons) can be set to almost anything ..

Note: See first post for brief tutorial on setting up icons.

^ Also if you type into console mutate smartdm menu there are various settings for arranging the scoreboards.

I think he already edited his post and removed the politics. Anyway, Que, I verified that my resolution is 1920 x1080. Thanks for putting up a tutorial on changing bot icons. I will have some fun with it! Maybe I missed it, but how do you change the "botland" text? I didn't see it in the tutorial.

Inside the SmartDM107.ini you will find the word "Botland" under: BotCountryName=Botland
Change this to anything you want :)

Also you can create upto 10 sets of BotIcons and 10 Sets Of Banners.. these can be changed in-game
if you login as admin and console > mutate smartdm menu you will see;

^ Be sure to set both of the settings simultaneously as when you click [Submit] they will both be set in the .ini.
Changes only take effect at start of NEXT LEVEL

if you know a bit about graphics creation you can also create your own icon packs.

^ if there's interest then i'll look into doing a tutorial later.

*We've replicated the problem with overlaps and have put into Todo list.

Updated original post with a temp beta SmartDM107s which fixes the Logo problem.
I am still using this version personally.

*put the time and icons on the hud exemple: AMP, Invisible, boots, reedmer...

This is intentional , not a bug ;) if users wish to see UT Default Scoreboard they can open !sdm Menu and select the following;

Some good ideas indeed.

Regarding 4. Countryflags... What is the problem here? with the CountryFlags32b not aligning?

ok i see what you mean , DO NOT use CountryFlags2 or CountryFlags3 with SDM107+;

Edit: have rebuilt CountryFlags2/3 and converted to 32x32px New Texture Package: CountryFlags32x

6. This is a monumental HUGE Task.. and not likely to happen , understand that SCTF has alot of great features so we may just add a few more there instead and leave it as a standalone mod.. most likely.

7. Put Time on Hud and Boots , amp , invisi etc.. this is what RexExtended does?
